Reels are here to stay but what reels are you creating?

If that question scared you. don't worry, we have some tips for you! For many companies, reels have thrown their social media strategy out the window and forced them to reconsider how they engage with audiences online.

If you are not sure where to start, here are some tips and ideas for small businesses in Trinidad and Tobago to start their reels journey.

Step One: Start Small

Before you start strategizing or even thinking of how to implement reels, start your journey by creating a short and easy reel.

The first step is always the hardest but after your first reel, you will notice that it’s not as intimidating as you think. Start small with a trend that pertains to your industry or a video that you saw on the platform that is easy to execute for your brand.

For example, there are tons of food trends that are based on songs. Choose one, film the videos in the app to ensure you are timing it well with the song and upload once edited! Just make sure to search for reels with hashtags that pertain to your industry to find trends that will fit your brand and clients.

Use Reel Templates

One of the greatest benefits of using reels is templates. This feature allows you to use a template for a reel and you can insert your own video footage or photos.

The template handles the timing and music so all you need to do is add the right imagery and add text on the image if needed.

This can also be done with static images.

This saves so much time and requires less planning and editing. Ensure that you are researching reels monthly and collecting some templates you want to use.

Not sure how to find them? Search on the reels explore tab and look for the template icon like this:
